Choosing a lawyer is a very serious business. Consumers are bombarded with all types of advertising and marketing from a myriad of legal firms. Billboards, print and press ads and even television commercials – however, the glossy messages do not necessary give you the information you need to select the lawyer that is best for you.
The first thing to identify is if the case is criminal or civil in nature and what type of lawyer is needed- can a generalist do what you need or do you need a specialist? For smaller legal matters such as small claims and traffic tickets, a generalist may be most appropriate. However, as soon as you move into more complex matters such as litigation, then its time to find just the right specialist.
For the past 28 years, I have concentrated on being just the right ‘specialist’ in the field of personal injury. I do not depend on glossy advertising or slick marketing messages to get my message across. Many of my cases come to me by personal referral or by social media referral and people decide whether or not to retain me once we have completed a complimentary consultation. Please call me so we can discuss if my area of specialty is a fit for your legal needs.
